Amazon's CEO peers into the future:

mercurycenter.com

"My intuition is that over some very large number of years -- and I won't even try to predict how many years -- some 10 to 15 percent of the book market will go online. So, in my own mind, I'm not seeing a huge fraction of the book market being online. There will be people who buy books both ways, people who buy books strictly at physical stores and a few people will begin to buy exclusively from online stores."

Let's see . . . if Amazon.com gets 1/3 of that market (I'm being generous) then that would be 5% max of overall book sales. Not bad but hardly what many bulls imagine.
