Hey everyone, here's an interesting post from Si Admin Bob! (bOb roOlZ). Anyway he talks about a something called a "Trial Member Block" that he is using on some threads - and why he is using it on this one in particular. Regarding a "Trial Member Block" (TMB) on this thread [the complete post is on the "OTC:RMIL formerly OTC:OVIS" thread at Message 5338226 ] So I thought, if "Trial Member Block (TMB)", why not "Thread Moron Block (TMB)". We could ask SI to modify their system, so that people who were deemed to be Thread Morons would actually have the words "Thread Moron" printed in little red letters next to their names when they posted. They would be required to do this as a condition of allowing you to post to SI (it could be a condition of their being allowed to continue to post to SI after repeated violations and suspensions for instance). A modification to the terms of use might be required. When a thread got particularly moronic, SI Admin Bob could come over and put on the Thread Moron Block (TMB), and its back to normal again (on SI, I'm not really sure what "normal" means). I'm sure SI Admin Bob could set something like this up no problem - he seems like a pretty smart guy. Who wants to ask him :-) Regards, John Sladek
