That and $2.50 can buy them a cup of coffee at Starbucks.<ggg>

As far as there financial condition, what makes you think they are in great shape? Their debt, their cost of goods, are in $US which causes their overhead to still be high. They were just complaining recently that the International Fund was not giving them a handout to help them stay afloat.

The only way Korea can help themselves is if they merge their individual companies into just one or two, maybe shut down some fabs like TXN/MU did and then start controlling the prices. Then all will benefit from this including MU.
