I talked to IR and was told a US financing was being worked on when
the share price collapse occurred. I was told a mutual fund with 750
million in assets had cash calls to meet redemptions and were a major
seller as the fund dropped to assets of 250 million. This ruined their
US financing plans and with the low share price they did the deal with
Yorkton as it was the best they could do at this time. Was told to
watch the wires this week for further more positive developments. I guess we will see about that. Canadian blue chips that I own are under
pressure as well with some down 10-15% in the past several weeks. In this environment a lot of small cap stocks are dying on the vine.
