Sure reminds me of the original K6 speculation and how it was going to blow away the PII. The K5 too was going to blow away a Pentium, and the K7 will beat "any currently available PII or Xeon based system". AMD speculation is what keeps the fans interested but the silicon always seems to disappoint. Hope springs eternal at AMD.
Remember, AMD could have been posting profits quarter after quarter based on other product lines, but Jerrys vendetta needs your money to fuel it. The next product is always the one that will catch Intel and turn a profit but somehow they never do.
