No. President Clinton, LIAR. We will see a day when the public no longer condones lying. Sadly, I have to conclude that the biased media will spin a Clinton safety net for any reason, so that day is postponed for who knows how long.

I wonder if it was like this in Germany in the 30's when a popular leader could do no wrong.

Remember when you are in court that they don't prosecute for perjury in civil matters. The legal system, which still works out of the "buggy whip" era, in addition to being cumbersome, slow and costly, now has a credibility problem. The top lawyer in the land will get away with lying. Should we expect less from the indians?

American industry has restructured and modernized; I wonder how long it will take for the US legal system to restructure and what form that will take?
