The difference between a commercial and a TV show is the consumer know the commercial is a paid endorsement and therefor takes the info with a grain of salt. The TV show, on the other hand, gives the impression the company's product is so newworthy that it is woth an independent discussion. Since a viewer may not know the copmany paid for the show and may have even contributed to part or all of questions the information appears more creadible than is deserving. Furthermore, since so much of this stock run up seems to be company driven I bet it is a better bet that the SCC is investigating them than the stock will ever hit the highs the the "lead analyst at Stockhelper.com" could predict.
