I am appropriately ashamed. I have been laying down some enfilading fire (great term I learned from James Cramer) on "that" thread. PM is exactly the kind of stock against which L--D compares unfavorably: existing sales and profits, low cash bleed, special situation. Heaven help me if L--D actually outperforms PM over any period :-O

Also Medicare will fund(starting in January or there abouts) educational information for diabetics. They understand that the controlling of this disease will provide great cost savings as opposed to the cost of treatments for the side-affects from this disease.

Forgive further laziness, but how does this fit into PM's business plan? Do they intend to sell educational material, or provide it free to enhance goodwill and brand awareness? And... will they have a web site?. :-)
