Thanks for the news. Thought I'd highlight a bit of it.

The panel's time-out on the taxman's access to cyberspace would be one year less than a three-year moratorium cleared by the House June 23 and four years short of the six-year ban cleared by the Senate Commerce Committee in November.

The draft finance committee bill originally called for a three-year moratorium, but the panel voted 11 to 9 to approve an amendment sponsored by Sen. John Chafee (R-Rhode Island) and Sen. Robert Kerrey (D-Nebraska) to cut it to two.
