I read the header to this forum just before going through some of the posts...it is amazing the ride that this stock has taken. I too once subscribed to the Cabot Letter. The only stocks that I have ever invested in from them is identix and zitl. both companies have had their respective day and though I made a profit, I always knew that the fundamentals weren't there. Identix has made significant strides and no doubt is worth what it is trading at today. Anyway, Presstek was highly touted by the Cabot Letter time and time again and I could never bring myself to buy at the prices that it was recommended and then sure enough, it would go up even higher each day. Two summers ago when the technology sell off was going on, it slid into the thirties and within three days, it was back up to 61. Well, for the first time, Presstek is trading where it should have been all along. Scott said it best when he pointed out where Presstek can now go with all the efforts in R & D. This stock, though I thought the bottom was at $12, is now at a point where $4/$5 is logically possible, but should never happen. There technology is still on the cutting edge, they are moving forward, and they are still profitable. 50/50 as Scott said on Yahoo, but IMO Presstek is a steal at these levels and will eventually get back in the $12-15 range before the year is through. DO I own shares yet? Hopefully by the end of the week...pending the sell of another stock I have shares of...I know there isn't a lot of info in this posting, but I felt like I needed to share; I have followed PRST since July of 1994 when it was at $24 a share.
SIncerely,
