I have followed this thread for 6-8 months and don't have a position in PRST. Your speculation as to what might be the value of this stock appears to be based upon a mix of past margin and growth potential, certianly its not based on recent financial performance of PRST. Looking at Scotts most recent post I have to agree with him that various developmental aspects of PRST technology look promising. Before jumping into this stock however one needs recognize that the stock will not likely rise based upon speculative hype as that period seems to be over. Assuming that the price will not be driven by speculative hype (resp for it's previously overvalued level) one needs to ask what will be the future revenue and earnings. PRST doesn't appear to be offering much in this area other than saying that they expect revenues to grow allong with necessary levels of investment associated with product development (support of consumables and the next DRUPPA). Without a sound understanding of projected revenue, costs and income how can you speculate as to the future value of this stock. While various comments offered suggest PRST technology has future marketability IMO other issues are being ignored such as defining of the markets for PRST products, distribution channels, competitive threats etc... In industrial markets it is very important to quantify and understand these issues as they can impact time to market, penitration and profitability and so on. While PRST has certian technical potential competition certianly exists. I have looked for information (market size, penitration rate, and margin) that would lead to a understanding of PRST's value and frankly don't think it is public. I do think think this stock will establish a base in the next 2-6 months suggested by another poster recently but to guess what that will be and where it will go from there is pure speculation.
