Gee, glad to give away some of my sources of info...

Pricey stuff!!

One of the best ways to keep on top of things is through the Metal Bulletin. This is a twice a week publication which I think is only available by snail mail. They have a web site at www.metalbulletin.co.uk where you can download some samples. Generally good stuff, these guys do some digging instead of spewing out corporate press releases word for word.

Other sources are:

www.ilzsg.com. This is the industry sponsored International Lead Zinc Study Group site which unfortunately keeps most of the stuff to themselves.

www.amm.com. They issue daily press and prices. You can have a look at some of the free stuff here.

Roskill has a site offering studies and such but pretty pricey and not very timely.

AME Mineral Economics puts out a lot of data but again its not the timely stuff you need.

Brook Hunt out of England do some exceptional work in tracking mine and smelter supply/ costs etc. but this is strictly for the very rich.

The Engineering and Mining Journal out of the US puts out a good review of metals once a year providing supply/demand data. You can get free subscriptions to this. Their address is PO Box 12977, Overland Park KS 66282-9859 USA. Tell them you are in the mining industry.

The Mining Journal out of England gives some tidbits from time to time. I posted their web site address previously.

Fortunately, we have a good corporate library so it doesn't cost me anything.

My best source however is the old boys network! You can't subscribe to that!
