I would add a sixth item to your considerable list, Joe. Namely, they need to offer something more than "connected DOS" with file and printer sharing. How is Netware going to stand up against clustered, symmetric multi-processor NT? The distributed aspects of NT are simply one component of what is arguably the greatest achievement in computing science. Charles Babbage and Seymour Cray are sitting there nodding their heads "yes" which is confirmation enough for me.
