I'm long GTE but I was recently questioning the future of this company. I've felt for some time that they were not moving forward like other major domestic players. Playing around in Puerto Rico also left me cold. Now with this BEL deal I feel cheated since GTE shares have been valued at a discount. I see the CEO managed to profit nicely on his advance knowledge.

I'll wait to see how this deal shapes up but as it stands now my shares are voting no and then they're open to the highest bidder.
