Helo Confluence,
In reply to your answers given, as you are one of the few that does not suffer from the ostrich mentality. The last time this mentality was adopted, it cost a lot of people dearly.
1.I do monitor the SUF website, but was perturbed when ONLY Suf seemed to know about the issuing of the mining permit. Why was there no joint statement?Unusual to say the least.
I can confirm that the mining permit was issued yesterday, being the 28th July.
2.No-one has ever questioned the excellence of the employees of SUF, most of them being ex-De Beers employees. All of this has been gone over at length.
3.The M1 grades have first to be established by De Beers before any decision is made by them to begin mining the M1.The issuing of the mining permit yesterday does not imply that they are going to forego their right to do their own DD.This was pointed out in their NR.
4.I have no doubt that De Beers, after fulfilling their obligations will begin mining with SUF on this joint venture.

Regards,

Gull.
