scrapple is parts of the hog and horse? that are not good enough to make sausage with... ears, etc.. mushed into a square, sort of like head cheeze, except the "gel" is pur fat.. they fry it in a cast iron skillet and give you this cholestorol laden crap for breakfast.. glad i wasn't a farmer... i would truly have become one of the children of the corn.... btw reading another book. "the dinosaur fund" found it in a paperback tradem store.... it was from 1973 by vartanig g vartan not too bad.. a lot of true stuff, market wise...
