I am new to this thread and recently bought some shares. There is a lot of excitement/anticipation on this thread but what you say hits to the bone. What is the local feeling of the workers at AMPEX (Do you know any?) Have there been any local news articles on the current fortunes of the company? Has AMPEX had a strong community presence lately? Is the local community excited about the company's long term prospects and finally, are they hiring right now? That would be the best sign of all. Thanks for any info. Jim
