Health Care Centers of America, Inc. Announces Leader
for Its Health Care Division

RENO, Nev., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Care Centers of America, Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: HCCAD - news) announced today they have selected Dr. James Revels, Jr. as president and
COO of the company's health care division.

Revels became interested in HCCA after learning of the company's integrated, multi-disciplinary
health care system of traditional medicine and alternative health care methods. In addition to leading
the company's health care division, Revels will be assisting in the company's review of the Indian
Health Services Hospital on behalf of the Rosebud Sioux Indian Tribe in Rosebud, S.D. Revels will
be working with Ronald L. Cournoyer of Cournoyer/Associates consulting firm, which has been
contracted by HCCA president, Maurice Furlong, to oversee the review.

Revels received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport,
Iowa and received post-graduate certification in Physiological Therapeutics from the National
College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Ill.

Revels has served as a marketing consultant to two national chiropractic consulting firms. In 1986,
he formed his own management and consulting company. He has also authored three books on the
organization, management and operation of health care provider practices. Revels also has
experience in creating advertising and marketing public relations campaigns for the benefit of the
chiropractic industry and has counseled hundreds of doctors in communications and media
marketing.

In addition to his private practice, Revels has served in many leadership positions in his profession.
Among these are chairman of the board of directors for the South Carolina Chiropractic
Association, president of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association, president of the South
Carolina Chiropractic Society, and president of the Midlands Chiropractic Society. For 12 years, he
also served as chairman of the legislative committee for the South Carolina Chiropractic Association.

Included among Revels numerous awards and professional accolades is recognition by the South
Carolina General Assembly in a Concurrent Resolution by the House of Representatives and the
Senate commending him for his outstanding and dedicated service to the state's chiropractic
community.

HCCA's integrated, multi-disciplinary health care system of traditional medicine and alternative
health care methods will be delivered through community-based, small centers and large, one-stop
health care malls. The company's cooperate objective is to build a national and international network
of health care community centers and malls.

Health Care Centers of America, Inc. is a Reno, Nev.-based company that is developing a network
