Don,
While I was very happy to read about IBM "winbacks" regarding mainframes, what really caught my eye was the section of IBM's telecom.

I know that I shouldn't have been surprised to read about IBM's telecom/network services, but I was. After all if the Company is network services, it only makes sense to provide telecom services.

But does anyone know anything about this network? The article mentions that IBM's telecom services are growing and profitable (two words that don't often to go together in the world of telecom). If anyone can provide information about this division (like bandwidth, miles of cable/fiber and lines in service), I would greatly appreciate it.
