Hi john;

Sorry to be so long in answering you but I had another very busy day and just got finished the bulk of it now.

In answer to your question about Ntl. Sec buying AGO. It originally was a pick of the year, 1996, by Kevin Smith and he seems to still believe it will be at least a $30.00 stock. He is still a believer, or so he says, and is still buying and recommending a buy because he still feels it will be a hitter and these are bargin prices.

I agree with him about the price but I will not buy more until I see some positive movement. I would rather wait until I see a $1. + increase before I go in for more. Hey, I'm not greedy, I would rather take a piece of the middle than get caught trying to fool around with the lows and highs.

I am also into Almanden, Corriente (which is holding a nice profit at the moment), Aurizon, and a few others. I really liked Sonoma when I bought it about 10 months ago but have not been following it. I will start soon. It was a pick and still is, of Casey.

I have only one dog --- USMX, but I think it will turn around in 1997 so I am hanging on. I got it 2 years ago at its peak and have been suffering ever since. But you have to have patience in this racket.

Let me have your thoughts on these if you are holding any of them.

I should be on later tonight.

Steve.
