Fair enough John but the question remains is who did the person who told you hear it from?

I'll tell you exactly where I first heard Russell mentioned. Russ Smith mentioned him to me several months ago. This was long before the current finger pointing began as to who is willing to investigate J/L and who is not. Russ explained to me who he was and that he had been introduced to the company by Barry Downs. He told me his credentials and that Norton thought highly of him although I believe he said the two had not worked together directly. He said the company was trying to see if he would be interested in analyzing the J/L process and any other processes Naxos may look into. Considering that I doubt Russ considers me part of the J/L or Fred camp it would not appear he was trying to placate me on this issue. There was no open shareholder warfare at the time and Russ seemed quite positive about Mr Russell and the possibility of his being useful to Naxos. And since I had this conversation several months ago it makes me skeptical of claims that the only reason the company is dealing with Mr Russell is because they were forced to.

BTW none of this hearsay but a direct report of my conversation with Russ ;)
