I wanted to add to other items to my earlier discussion on the financing:

(1) The financing did not have a condition precedent that a contract be in place, which in itself is a statement about the confidence that Castle Creek must have in the production technology - Granted they have protected themselves in case of a failure to produce by having a variable conversion price in at least the second tranche (and perhaps in the first as well;

(2) There is no doubt in my mind that Castle Creek visited both Henderson and NI and looked at the facilities, and very likely undertook due diligence discussions with potential OEMs; and

(3) I spoke to a small institutional investor who had been in and out of the stock about the company this morning. He had reviewed the announcement and volunteered that the financing was a very solid leap forward for the company. He added parenthetically that he would probably begin to reaccumulate the stock based on the lifting of the uncertainty surrounding the financing.

Bottom line: it's pretty darn hard to figure out that the financing announced is a negative, though I suppose some people can, particularly some of the asses on Yahoo. But that's another fantasy land over there...
