I was surprised by the fact that PNLK dropped Proxicom and moved on to another vendor, but I'm very encouraged to see that PNLK turned to Rare Medium as its new Web partner. A few reasons:

(1) PNLK continues to court and win over business partners that are at the top of their fields. Rare Medium has a great reputation and fine work history.

(2) Rare Medium is more than a Web-development firm; it's a Web strategy company in a broader sense. They can not only provide technical support for PNLK, but also will help leverage the concept PNLK is working with by lending additional strategic perspectives.

(3) Best of all, Rare Medium is a company that seeks to hit home runs. They play for keeps, and the fact that they've entered into this agreement with PNLK suggests (in my mind) that they see tremendous potential here.
