Ouch. You just killed my takeover candidate idea! :) I believe I even may have seen Lucent show up on the programmable switch competitor list! For some reason, I read something on "Yahoo" where XLSW was standing alone in it's field (But that's Yahoo for you). You know with NET(!) profit margins of 22%, you would think they would be alone in their field. But I guess not. I'll still consider it, but I'm not so excited anymore.

For those who may not understand this comment, basically Frank is saying if they use this new fangled switch, then they are in the radar sites of the FCC and will get hammered every step they take. If they didn't use the switch, then they would come under the Telecom Act of 1996(?), and the government would applaud every move an information highway builder takes (that was the theory anyway).
