3Com Vice President Joins RadiSys Board; Jean-Pierre Patkay, Vice President of Worldwide Systems Manufacturing, 3Com Corp., Elected To RadiSys Board of Directors

HILLSBORO, Ore.--RadiSys, a leading manufacturer of embedded computers, today announced that Jean-Pierre Patkay, vice president of worldwide systems manufacturing for 3Com Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., has been elected to the RadiSys Board of Directors.

Mr. Patkay has served in his current position with 3Com since 1994. He previously was vice president of operations for Quantum Corp., the diversified mass storage company in Milpitas, Calif. For many years before, he held a variety of manufacturing, engineering, and general management positions with Hewlett-Packard Company.
