Tom,
You state just what I also believe. I have friends who have been very offended by any talk that pre-trib is not true. I think they are at risk for being deceived by the beast. It is fear of suffering that makes so many cling to pre-trib. It's the perfect "american" doctrine because nobody has to suffer. I also have a friend who is into "kingdom now" which also opens him up to deception by the beast. He asserts the prophecies in Rev. are all fulfilled. But I can't seem to get through to him that if what he says is true then Revelation is not a revelation at all but just a history book because the events he says fulfill the prophecies took place before the Revelation of John was written.
