The "Early Edition" would be terrific. Meantime, I do use GTC orders to pick up anomalies in the market in either direction. But those trades are confined to occasions when I've got some extra cash available or if I want to trim part of an already profitable position. But I never do it on core positions, just trading segments. And that, for just the reason you point to. There's no way to pinpoint the price. That's also why I confine my use of stops and limits to mental ones instead of wired in orders. Aiming for the general direction is about as good as I can get right now. Let's hope August 3rd is a non-event. Conference call should be good. None of us want to steal Mr. Hawk's thunder. I think the CYI team and management have been working pretty hard. They deserve to be excited entering this phase. There is a lot to it that has elements of a poker game. No sense in tipping one's hand, especially to the competition.
