In my opinion, management probably started those rumors. They had the incentive to do so, and if nothing else, I doubt they did anything to discourage them. Considering they have been sued for stock manipulation in the past (check 10k), this would seem to be par for the course. Sorry for your loss on this scam, maybe the SEC will get even for you.
