I haven't posted here for awhile since I exited my WFR position earlier this year. BTW, this is one of the best threads on SI IMO. I had forgotten the level of discussion this thread offers. Keep up the good posts guys/gals. Here is some relevant info from Dataquest. BK Dataquest sees flat 99 with explosive spending thereafter: gartner11.gartnerweb.com Excerpt: Dataquest analysts said the next six months will be extremely difficult in the market, and while 1999 growth will remain flat, Dataquest analysts forecast a spending boom during 2000-2001, with a DRAM shortage emerging early in 2000. Dataquest predicts the worldwide wafer fab equipment market will grow 37 percent during 2000 and 49.8 percent in 2001
