The point it simply that Microsoft is hardly standing still and the huge array of services from TCP/IP to 3D make NT a far superior platfrom than some give it credit for. I don't think there's much of a question that Bill Gates was sent here with a higher purpose and, insofar as he may be considered a deity, attacks from Novell and others are both blasphemous and futile.
