Dear Gregory:

Greek philosophers had a very negative influence on Christianity. The mythology if for no other reason was full of violence, fear, sensationalism, magic, and fatalism. Their philosophy spawned exaggerations, multiple dieties, suicide, low self esteem, and class disfunction.

Paul in Romans 2:12 states " For as many as have sinned without the law shall also perish without law"' and, as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law".

These early cultures were of course without the law. Paul was of course speaking of the new dispensation. As to the fate of these past generations. I'll let them worry about that. I have my own agenda and my own passion and that is the person of Christ Jesus.

Whether you be of the Jewish faith ( with law ) or gentile, ( without law) or buddist or Arab or Muslim ( also without law ) if you have sinned you shall die----with or without the law.

The point is that your judgement will come through, via, by way of , Jesus Christ and in Him you shall be found righteous in Him, or your judgement will come under, via, by way of the law and it doesn't make one iota of difference if you are Jew or non Jew. Now, how can you perish "without law". Ignorance of nor lack of possession of the law has never held up in any earthly courtroom and surely to God it will not hold up in heaven either.

My good friend, your hope is not in being good, it is in the shed blood of the Lamb of God. Doers of the law, whether they be gentile, jew or hindu must keep all the law or to break only one law, one time, will ensure that you will be found guilty of the whole law and your punishment will be a compendium of the misery a total law breaker must eternally endure.

If you insist on rejecting the grace of God then why not go out and really have a knock down , bang up good time, get drunk, party, indulge yourself in all kinds of pleasure. Be bold in your excess and don't give a hoot what anyone thinks. You would be a lot better off. In fact I'm praying and asking God right now in Jesus name that He remove the boundaries from your neat, tidy lifestyle, so you can at least have some worldly earthly pleasures while you are here on this earth. You might as well break every one of God's laws because you are surely going to pay for breaking every one of them whether you break them or not.

In Christ.gregor
