hey guys, what do you guys think of buying puts on yahoo, is it too late for august? i wanted to short it the first time it hit 200 but i didn't, obviously. i think just as the internets lead the rally they will lead the correction down and stay there. i've never shorted a stock and i know r. ney says not to short but this one seems to just pop out at me. do you guys think it's too late.

also did you guys read the article in the WSJ yesterday about how there will never be another crash like '87 well, if that isn't an indication that the market is going down i don't know what is. it seems the mood is negative recently but it seems with every negative there is some positive spin which usually means the market is going further down. r. ney seems to expect a short rally but it seems as if the specialist are doing just that...by dropping the dow so low and them rallying it to make it seems like the drop wasn't so bad. and of course, unloading and shorting stock.
