Hey, PAL, just got back from church, sorry I'm late. It depends on your objective. If Dell soars, as per usual, you may end up with no shares and much missed profit. Of course you can roll out the 120s to November or so and get more premium then.

Personally I'm scared to sell calls against Dell stock till the day after earnings or the next split, when it usually goes down for more than a month.

Unless the market falls out of bed I don't think this is the time to short Dell or sell covered calls. Probably a safer way to make the $4 is to short the 8/100 Puts. You can roll them out too, and you do not stand the risk of losing upside on your stock.

I think the next few weeks will be enormously fruitful for Dell longs.
