FWIW, I have nothing to add that already hasn't been touched on by other long-time members of this thread.

My take was that the EPS number was disappointing and the conference call should have painted a more rosier scenario than what was displayed.

I have a lot of respect for IAIC's management and technology and still retain a sizable position (for me) in IAIC.

However, realistically speaking, it is difficult to "swim against the tide" when the Y2K toolstocks have been consistently underperforming the market this year. My gut feeling tells me that this is not an IAIC-specific problem. We need a resurgence of buying for the whole Y2K sector including the toolstocks to regain the previous glory days.

It remains to be seen what will rekindle interest in the group.

I am sure that the co. will be able to continue to show improved operating results but we will need substantial increased backlog of Y2K AND non-Y2K contracts to get the Street interested in the stock.
