It's okay to be contrarian, but sometimes "the crowd" really is right. That's true. Same holds for short interest - a high one is not necessarily bullish. I was wondering whether anyone has ever really looked at the put/call ratio on individual stocks to see if it is a good contrary signal as it is thought to be overall and on indexes. As many of us have seen on certain takeover or breaking news situations, the option market seems downright clairvoyant sometimes. Regards, Bob
