I don't think so. Netscape's mail client had almost exactly the same bug. When the news came out, Microsoft immediately posted a free patch (it was referenced in the news article I read about the bug). Netscape will make it's fix available in the next version of Nav, due Aug 7th. Thanks to the auto-update feature of Win98, Win98 users should be prompted for an upgrade automatically. Mike
