They may cost more, but they have 24x7 support and overnight replacement, 2 features I really need. Two other customers who purchased N Base equipment on my advice are in the process of switching vendors as well. This is really unfortunate, as the recent products are very cost- competitive. It's the last few steps of polishing the product and the lack of support that are troubling. If MRV expects to move into carrier-class equipment, I hope that my N Base experiences are not indicative of MRVC in general, because the carriers I know of won't put up with that level of non-support.
