Terry,
I didn't mean to name names too. But amidst this misinformation about "droves of salespeople leaving" I want to clarify certain truths.
You probably don't know what is going on. But there is an effort by some to keep misinforming this thread about "droves of salespeople leaving" that I decided to speak up. Too bad I had to drop a name, but that lends credibility to my posts.
There are "no droves of salespeople leaving". They were all fired for lack of sales. If I were the owner of a company, I'd do the same. Plus, realize that commision scales of MRV versus Xyplex are very different. MRV's is more performance oriented. Every time there is a merger, some people are not going to be happy. But you can't make every one happy all the time. (Note: M. Pallies did not come from Xyplex, so it's nothing to do with commissions and probably caused by something else. I don't need to know, and I am not nosy)
I knew about your posts quite a while back. But never decided to drop names until things like your story starts coming to this thread.
I am sure you have good intentions, but the salesperson you are referring to also has bad vibes about MRV. I used to goof off at work too (I happen to be a bad employee. Just don't like working for someone else), and I know how it is to get fired. After you get fired , you don't tell people you get fired. Hey, that happens all the time in all the corporations. I have a friend who hates working for Cisco, too, by the way.
Sorry, but there are always two sides to a story. Don't mean to offend you in a personal way. |
