well, thanks. i personally would rather that the stock move up, than having to work hard.
I never wanted to have to work this hard to hold a stock. I was stupid enough to pick up this stock initially without doing much investigation. The stock drops, and I was ready to cut my losses and I started doing my investigation to see if I want to continue.
Well, everyone has to make his own decision. I decided to keep it, satisfied that there is enough margin of safety on this stock, and having picked up more about networking knowledge from my ISP friends and stuff.
Ever since earnings came out, there seem to be an effort from Pink and his cronies (Mrs Pink and Chris) to discredit this stock further. I don't mind Pink's posts. His original posts made me more cautious about this stock in the first place. And the mental challenges ought to be investigated.
I am annoyed by his followers (Mrs Pink and Chris) who come and make no contributions. But I just want to put things in perspective as best as I could.
Anyway, I think I'm relieved that the negative sentiments are more than just Pink and friends. The fact that quite a few research houses are negative on MRVC make me more comfortable. I like some kind of contrarian indicators. Likewise, except for occassional facts found in the research of Bear Stearns, Gruntal, etc., I pretty much think that their investment banking relationships with MRVC make their opinions suspect.
Still, MRVC is a risk play to the extent that tech stocks in general are risk plays. But the more I seem to understand the new high-speed networking technology (I have Electrical Engineering degree and Computer Science), the more I feel that at the current price, the margin of safety is worth it.
We'll see. Like I said, I never wanted to be known as a poster. But in light of the Pink attacks, I thought I have to speak up a bit.
