Sid,

There's people on this thread that absolutely frighten me. It's the..."if I had some bacon, I'd have some bacon & eggs...if I had some eggs." type mentality....a classic example of hope reigning over logic. Holding this stock isn't being optimistic...it's burying your head in the sand.

I continually read posts referring to IAIC as a "great company" with "great management"...but if you stand back and look at the big picture, you'll see a feeble, little, one-note-charlie company that's lost over a million bucks in the last ten years. This is not...at least to me...the sign of a "great company".

I know it is painful for those of you that are long-time holders of this stock, but it's time to stick a fork in it...'cause it's done.
There is absolutely no way for this outfit to make enough $$$ in the next 6 qtrs to justify it's 65 million in market cap...all you have to do is look at CA's 1999 revenue forecast to determine that.
And as for IAIC's hopes of a consulting business after the year 2000...most of that will most likely be going to CA ...and to assume anything else is just more wishful thinking.

IAIC makes a "tool"...a very specific tool...for which CA has a current use. Question...If your barber gives you a good haircut...are you going to call the guy that made the scissors the next time you need a trim? Of course not!
