re: ESF

ESF was on Tom MacIntyre's Top Ten list, so presumably it's a BUY right now unless JD says otherwise. Last night on the hotline (I don't normally call in Wednesdays but I happened to be up late), he mentioned RP, CD, GTE, a chemical stock not to buy, and nothing about ESF. He mentioned RP being sharply UP but doesn't seem to have noticed it's still DOWN from $56, and no explanation of the sell off (this annoyed me).

NO recent word on STD. At times in the past, JD has put STD on hold because it's gotten ahead of itself. I am not aware of a current hold, but given the run up it's had it is not all that surprising it's pulled back. I did notice a news item about Santander Mexico (which may or may not be the same Santander) posting a loss last quarter, but haven't gotten round to checking my annual report to see if their subsidiary is STD Mexico and what its revenue contribution is relative to the rest of STD. You?
