Buche', Has ProNetLink announced a 2.0 launch date other than to say it will occur in August? Unless I've missed some posts, Glenn said two weeks ago that Proxicom would have it ready the first week in August...which was interpreted on this thread to be August 7th. Now they have a new partner in RareMedium and somehow I've got it in my head that Glenn has softened the launch date to "August", which let's say is the 31st. My experience is that taking over someone else's code isn't necessarily an advantage. The pressure, and I hope Glenn realizes this, isn't to hit a deadline but to make sure 2.0 addresses all the concerns, critiques, new enhancements that came from version one. It can be late and justified by the new association with RareMedium (although I'm sure the contract is loaded with incentives to get it done in August). What it can't be is a series of half-assed patches that doesn't make the site truely functional. Version 2.0 will define ProNetLink's commitment, affecting future confidence by customers, strategic allies, and investors which ultimately, will affect the price of stock. Just my opinion.
