Profitable companies or not- they are all going to suffer in a bear market. LONG IS WRONG in a bear market. Fundamentals be damned- it's psychology that moves the market. From my experience fundamentals don't mean diddly squat for the short term and they constantly change- so you can't use them for the long term either. I'm doing my best to warn people that this market is very dangerous at this level.

Talking to one of the average Joe guys on my softball team last night about the state of the stock market. He said he was a bit concerned since he had 50K of retirement money in the market. I told him I was very nervous about the height- and explained to him that poor rubes that bought in at the top of the market in 1929 had to hold for 25 YEARS before they got back to even. After this, he said he would probably move into something safer TODAY.

Your average Joe does not know history- they do not know that the market can go negative for years and years. When the bear starts, and people start getting a little more educated on this- LOOK OUT BELOW.

I think we're at of one of the greatest selling opportunities I'll ever see in my lifetime. But-I thought that last April and was fooled, so you never know if the end is really here or not. What I do know is that it's been a really long and profitable bull market for me and a lot of others, and I'd like to keep those gains. I also know that the market technicals look awful.

Have a nervous day, :}
