Scott,

I have no technical knowledge regarding the refinement of the metals. Perhaps someone else on this thread can shed some light. But Sabin charges around $100 per ounce to process rhodium which is far higher than their charges for the other metals. This suggests that the refining process is complicated. Also, as you know, rhodium sells at more than $600 per ounce and this suggests both rarity and difficulty in extraction. Incidentally it seems that the GPGI ore is relatively rich in rhodium.

Regards, Ed
