Ross Systems Expands Contract in Japan
ATLANTA, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS - news), a leading provider of business software solutions, today announced that it has received an additional commitment of $2.5 million towards a contract totaling $13.5 million with its business partner in Japan, System Plaza, Inc. System Plaza is a subsidiary of Yokogawa Electric Corporation. Ross expects to recognize this commitment as revenue during its first quarter commencing July 1, 1998.

System Plaza specializes in providing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and supply chain solutions to process manufacturers in Japan. The company has more than 260 employees.
