CNN, at about 7:10 AM EDT had a segment about it and guess what: played and replayed the BMW crash test with the SMU ITS head protection system... Excellent footage (same as the one available on the web). Said that "if that is what consumers want (head protection), they will ask for it and hopefully these systems will be low price".
Said that BMW has it in many of their cars and that theoretically, all cars could have head protection system in the future. No mention about the curtain design. Did not mention that this was a Simula product... Too bad.
