Interactive Entertainment Limited Announces New Sky Play Airline Customer
MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 30, 1998--Interactive Entertainment Limited (Nasdaq: IELSF - news) today announced that Air China has selected IEL's Sky Play interactive, in-seat amusement games for installation on five Boeing 777 aircraft. These aircraft are to be fitted with the Matsushita 2000E interactive inflight entertainment system. The Sky Play installation will be for an indefinite period of time with the first implementation scheduled for September. The transaction was structured as a license to a subsidiary of Air China.

Its Sky Play games are today flying in-service on more than 60 aircraft operated by American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Egyptair, Malaysia Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Lauda Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines. Sky Games(TM), IEL's inflight gaming system, is currently in operation on one aircraft of Singapore Airlines with additional installations expected to begin no later than September.
