Dale, Another function to add to the "wish list" that I'm interested in (as well as others I'm sure) would be the ability to create indices based on surrogate groups of stocks. IRL has that ability, but using virtual files slows the building of the indices and the resulting MS files can't be scanned in QP2. It's something I've been interested in investigating, but I'm not a VB programmer(or any kind of programmer for that matter), so the going would be real slow for me to do it. If you're interested in pursuing this, we can discuss the specific capabilities that would be useful to include. Thanks joe
