My guess is the TSE simply for ease of transfer. Listing a Canadian company on the NASDAQ must entail considerable administrative hurdles. To maintain a $5 price U,S. requires $7.50 Canadian. All previous signs indicate TBP is comfortable with its Canadian heritage. Once TBP is discovered by institutional investors, the real price appreciation will begin especially with the small float.
