On the reverse rumor front, the following is a list of companies I've seen mentioned in print as possibly interested in ASND: LU (strategic fit to fight CSCO and NT/BAY) NT (pre-BAY takeover) ERICY (stock slide may negate) ALA (CSCO alliance makes it tough) CSCO (pre-emptive) Siemens (NN/COMS alliances makes it tough) INTC IBM HWP (all 3 as stronger push into networking) COMS/ASND merger to fight CSCO (not bloody likely) Anyone else?
